Merced Gastroenterology Med

This was my second in-person visit to Merced GI. Previous visits were telehealth appointments with Dr. Munnangi. All positive. This visit was with "Tawny" (spelling may not be correct)), a Nurse Practitioner. Since I'm a vintage RN, I usually enjoy these visits. Tawny introduced herself shaking my hand, and asking if I was ok with a NP seeing me. Even though she had the ever present laptop computer with her, she still taljed to me, making eye contact. More importantly I felt listened to. Her explanations were thorough but not wordy or complicated. My questions were satisfactorily anawered. In summaey, I felt respected and cared about.

The whole office was exceptional! They made me feel very comfortable and I had no issues whatsoever. Ty😊

Great staff! In and out 2 hours total time just like they said. Staff are hilarious.

I had such a great experience with ALL the staff and Dr. Everything was very straightforward and any questions I had, they answered as best as possible. They reassured me throughout the process which helped put me at ease. Anesthesia is nerve wracking for some but this facility comforts you throughout the process making it very smooth. I do wish they let you wake up a little more before sending you home. Also the next steps after surgery would be great on a piece of paper to take home , ex: you’ll get a paper In the Mail in the next couple days , instead of being verbally told while still loopy.

It waz a good service. Just when hooking up my IV line it hurt me when she missed my vain left my right hand swollen and bruised. She had to find another vain in same hand she missed in. Ouch!!!!!
