Tidelands Health Pediatrics

Tidelands Health Pediatric Care has been an excellent experience for our family. The staff is consistently kind, patient, and welcoming, which makes a big difference for both kids and parents. The providers take the time to truly listen, answer questions clearly, and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. Appointments are well organized, wait times are reasonable. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about their patients and wants the best for each child’s health and comfort. I feel confident and supported every time we visit, and I would highly recommend Tidelands Health Pediatric Care to any parent looking for compassionate, reliable pediatric care.

The phone system needs major improvement! When you call the pediatric office its no option of talking to an operator/receptionist. Only clinical staff, billing, & centralized scheduling. It's sad that if I want to speak to someone about a referral or questions/concerns, that I have to drive all the way to the physical office to ask anything or know anything. A change needs to be done! Especially with Tidelands Health being such a HUGE Healthcare system!

We joined this practice a year and a half ago after moving to the area. Our first few visits went pretty smoothly, but things have really gone downhill. First, half of the providers have left, which means it is basically impossible to get an appointment when kids are sick. It seems they are still accepting new patients even though they already can't easily schedule existing ones. This has meant several (more expensive) trips to urgent care facilities with sick kids, where a different doctor or nurse practitioner is on duty each time. The quality of care my kids have been receiving has definitely gone downhill because of this. Even during well visits, the doctors seem really rushed and strained -- understandably so, but it's not ideal for patients. And wait times are always horrible in the

Dr. Carter is an amazing provider for my two boys. She is very personable and knowledgeable. She answers my questions and never makes me feel rushed. I have been very happy with our experiences with Dr. Carter!

If i could give negative stars i would.. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! worst experience i have ever experienced with a pediatric office, no one calls or messages you back, they have no clue what’s going on, had to miss work and my son couldn’t go back to daycare because no one would contact me back, constantly getting letters that my kids doctors are leaving so they would be seeing ANOTHER new doctor. I have no confidence in this office AT ALL. Dr. Nguyen was the only good thing this office had to offer and he left. unless you want a headache take your children ELSEWHERE
