Thrifty White Pharmacy

There's always an issue when I try to pick up my prescriptions. They're never ready or it's the wrong ones. I end up having to wait or come back. They always blame my insurance. I only go here so I don't have to drive to Cloquet but with all the time wasted, the convenience isn't really worth it.

My only complaint is i had all my prescriptions set to be ready when i was staying in hinckley and when I moved back home they were all over the place and when i went to talk to the tech she said with my insurance they can't do it so my meds are all messed up and i swear im still mussing one. But ill get it figured out. Otherwise they are always so kind and helpful.

To start off; not every pharmacy you go to is going to be well-rounded perfection 100% of the time. You have to expect waiting in line, or waiting some time for your prescription to be ready for pick-up, being you're not the ONLY person that uses the pharmacy. Once you understand that, you'll find the employees are always very kind, and do the best job they can do. If you ask me, friendliness tends to go a long way. 👌

SLOW SLOW SLOW!!! Prescriptions are NEVER ready when promised- I’m ALWAYS asked to “come back in 15 minutes” when I arrive to pick up - I’m convinced they do not start filling a scrip until you are there to pick it up! Notoriously bad throughout the town- EVERYONE complains about their service. As of today, I’m switching to a mail prescription service. In the event I need an urgent scrip filled, I will drive to Cloquet or even Duluth before I go back to Thrifty White Moose Lake.

I called in 3 percrips on a Monday. I was told they would be ready afternoon on Thurs. Got a text message telling me that they were ready. I drove 8 miles, 16 mile round trip to sit and wait in a line of cars (approx. 6) to pickup order. Over a 1/2 hour later, I received 2 of the 3 scrips. I pull around and went inside, where I waited another 10 minutes to get to the counter. I was told that the 3rd Scrip was not ready and then asked if I wanted to wait for it, REALLY! Why text me and tell me they were done if their not done? Very poor Customer Service! Inefficient staff, I have had numerous issues with this Pharm. over the years. They pretty much have a Monopoly in this part of the woods. Someday their Mistakes will hurt or kill someone.
