I’m extremely disappointed with my repeated experiences at Essentia. This morning, my appointment was canceled 40 minutes before it was scheduled, after I had rearranged my day to attend. I was told the cancellation was due to the doctor caring for another patient. Canceling appointments at the last minute shows a complete lack of respect for patients’ time. This was the last straw. Essentia has continued to fail as an institution. After an incorrect biopsy, my thyroid cancer was missed for years, which caused significant harm to my health and well-being. At one point, a scheduler told me I would not be able to see a doctor for six months, even though my ultrasound report explicitly stated that the findings could be cancer. If you want to survive, please go elsewhere. The ER Dr's are horrible at not diagnosing properly. Especially heart issues. Very disappointed. If it's your heart, get to Regions if there is time.

In general, an ambulance cannot force a conscious, competent adult to go to the hospital, or to a specific hospital, against their will. Doing so is considered false imprisonment or kidnapping. They did this to me once. I have ring security cams that recorded the whole thing, then 911 lied to me & sent Essentia who refuses to take me to my facility Fairview M Health Physicians U Of M. I drove to North Branch & had such nice police & EMS. The Mayo Clinic ambulance will take you to anywhere in the state. And I have Ring footage of the Fairview Ambulance parked outside my house. Cops were even called by ems and I do want to press charges for my first pickup & the one yesterday.

My father had a health issue. We had the ambulance bring him to the hospital. I tended his wound that happened at home. When we got to the hospital, the Doctor gaslit me and my father . Didn't do anything to his wound that he had wouldn't listen to me and my father. And we were out of there in forty five minutes just told my dad , he's ninety seven years old and walked out of the emergency room he had a bed side manner of a pompous jerk like we were imposing on him and being a bother

I’m a healthy professional now retired nana 57 year old with throbbing tooth pain & my blood pressure was high compared to my normal blood pressure. My Apple Watch was alerting me to my vitals are not normal my BP high. I couldn’t sleep or rest. We went in yesterday. The EKG and everything looked good for my heart, except the heart rate. the doctor tried to “sell me” on that I have anxiety. He ordered me anxiety medication. I left very frustrated and still in pain. Today we drove to the cities for emergency dental care, they pulled the tooth. It was an infection in the roots of my tooth. My pain is gone, my blood pressure back to normal. I’m not sure I’d ever return to your facility. I sure hope this doctor receives a copy of this review.
