Thrifty White Pharmacy

We have been using this pharmacy for years in support of small businesses. Today changed that. My prescriptions that were called in yesterday morning was not filled at almost 4:00 this afternoon. The pharmacist discussed my medication loud enogh for the many people waiting in line to hear. The consult 'booth' has been relocated so there is no privacy there either. The pharmacist tried to give me someone elses meds, after i explained twice those were not mine.Then the she chose not to lower her voice during my consult. 45 minutes later, I had my meds and left embarrassed. No one wants their medical conditions and prescriptions shared with the general public.

I would put 0 stars if I could. The place is a disaster. I don’t know how they are still in business. Everyone employee runs around lost when you pick up your medicine. Except to be in line for up to an hour. Expect your order to be screwed up, they either give you the wrong amount, the orders are never on time with a one time or a scheduled order, they give you the wrong medication, or even worse they don’t have to for you, and you have to conference in you doctor. Note: There is no drive through for pickup. I would stay away, and use any other pharmacy in decorah except this one. My recommendation is WinMed pharmacy.

Stopped on Thursday to have refill done to be ready 430pm Friday. Stopped to pick up at 430 and still not completed. In the last year service has been going down hill. I am done with Thifty White going to another pharmacy for better service.

Great lovely staff however, the Store Manager left me with a terrible embarrassing experience over the phone. Store policy and legalities are very important to get educated on.. She spoke firmly, rudely and agitated. I would not recommend coming here anymore.

I have not gone to this pharmacy without having to wait for my prescriptions for at least 15 minutes. Longest wait was 35 minutes. Very unorganized. Need to request your prescription two days ahead for it to be ready for pickup. Don’t waist your time.
