Thornton Pavilion

The MRI scheduler changed my appointment to a different date and time without my authorization. I did not even know this until I called Ucsd radiology scheduling and a representative told me the new time and date of my appointment. This is not right as it affects me. I find this disrespectful, unethical, and a risk for patients that are scheduling appointments because their accounts are being handled without their authorization changing their appointments without them knowing. UCSD please remove this MRI scheduler from UCSD, she made me lose my appointment as well because the appointment she moved it from is no longer available and the appointment she assigned for me was a a date and time I could not even make. The Thornton Pavilion left me speechless and that is hard to do. I was dropped off and Andre the Thornton host, immediately came and asked if he could help. Within a few seconds he had me looked up on his computer by phone number and knew exactly who I was and exactly where, what, why and when I was supposed to be! He quickly guided me to Daisy who escorted me right to the door of the specialty clinic for my appointment I was just overwhelmed by everything that was there at Thornton Pavilion! She was very kind and made me feel relaxed and at ease! 5 stars for the most EXCELLENT care & services provided at Thornton Hospital's Lung Disease & Respiratory Care department that I received on my visit today!! I have ALWAYS been treated so extremely well at this facility each & every time I've gone to this hospital to receive tests from their various specialty depts over several years now. Today was no exception. I had to have some pulmonary breathing tests & 6-minute walk test done & my pulmonary technician today was Victor. I cannot say enough good things about this gentleman. He was not only supremely proficient & knowledgeable, but a real expert in his field! Nice hospital pay off the UCSD medical system. There is a good size car park nearby and they have valet parking. Great staff

Definitely a HIPPA violation. I was seen here on 8/23 and they put me on a RECLINER in the hallway with 4 others infront of me no privacy curtains or walls just a normal hallway. Then the doctor saw me there and discussed my entire medical history infront of everyone in an open hallway. Is this not a violation of HIPPA?? how are they allowed to see us in an open hallway😭
