Had the most amazing dental experience here, I came in from another office who wanted to redo 2 root canals and do 4 fillings and I suspected this couldn’t be the case. Dr. Salazar took ample time to go through my dental history with me, take a look at the x-rays I brought and then examine my teeth. He paid close attention to my gum health as well as my bite even noticing where my teeth had worn over time. He took the time to explain everything he was looking at in great detail so I felt like I was learning while he examined my teeth. If you’re looking for a dentist who is patient, kind and takes the time to get to know his patients so they feel comfortable with treatment then this dentist office is for you.

The best dental office I’ve ever worked with. every experience I’ve had over 10 years has been the highest quality. They were recommended to me by a retired dentist who said that all the dentist in La Jolla go here for their own dental care. Not the cheapest, but in life you often get what you pay for.

Dr. Dougherty is thoughtful, patient, intelligent, and caring. He is unwinding a problem caused by my wife's previous dentist, and, after more than a year of tooth pain that has prevented her from food enjoyment, she is starting to see some relief. The office is pleasant, caring, efficient, and runs on time. Communication is excellent. This is not a 99% cosmetic/1% medical dentistry office that pushes sales. A gem.

25+ years as my family’s dentist. Kudos to Dr. Paul Daugherty! He remains top flight and up to date. The comprehensive examination he performed on me yesterday was impeccable! His clinical and office staff are friendly, efficient and technically excellent. I could not imagine a better dental care experience.

Let a message on Sunday my tooth was chipped. The office called 1st thing Monday morning to let me know they could get me in. The assistant was great, he was very kind Dr Salazar and Dr Dougherty are both awesome Today Dr Salazar was like an artist and fixed my chipped teeth and they look great The office staff were kind and helpful too
