Dr. Pellegrino is amazing! I have been seeing him for over 6 years, routinely, and will never change that. He cares not only about the problem, but the person as well. Takes his time to communicate the steps in every procedure / surgery. Highly recommend him!

Dr Pelligrino did a biopsy of a lump on my breast, informed me of the results of the biopsy, and eventually did the surgery to remove the lump. He and his office staff were wonderful at helping me to get a momography quickly, getting into his office to see him quickly--even though it was Thanksgiving week--and getting me into cancer treatment as quickly as possible. The care was excellent and I would recommend him highly.

Here we are for the third night waiting for Dr. Lygas to call my wife with her biopsy results. He performed it Monday, and told her he would call between 5pm & 9pm on our home phone on either Tuesday or Wednesday. He told us to stay by the phone. The number will not be one we’d recognize and the he doesn’t play phone tag. Today, Thursday, she called at 1:30pm to find out when he would call, or have they even received the results yet. The office staff said they received the results, and that he would call this evening. It’s now 9:39 and still no call. We called the service and explained our dilemma. The service said they’re under strict orders not to page him if a patient is looking for results from a biopsy. She’s in tears, and they still stuck to their orders. All we can do is go into th

My wife Barbara was seeing another Breast Surgeon in the Brick area. She was getting nervous because the other Doctor was ordering test after test. She found Dr. Lygas via Google and read the reviews which I agree with. Dr. Lygas got right to the point you need surgery and you don't need any more tests. Surgery was scheduled for 10 days later and her surgery is complete and we are heading to recovery. Very experienced and patient friendly.

Just love Dr. Pellegrino and his crew at Centra State. Very caring and great follow ups. I know I've been in the best hands since diagnosed w breast cancer.
