Best experience I had at a student office in Philadelphia. I’ve been in this process of correcting my smile for 6 years and this was the cleanest place I have been to. Not to mention, the staff were cool also. From the security to the financial services lady. Everyone was helpful and made me feel comfortable! Everything also flowed well!!! From entering the building to getting in the scary dentist seat “that I didn’t sit in” to going home. The dentist I saw was a chill guy he is def experienced and made me feel comfortable with his straight forwardness. The student dentist was cool too! Overall I felt extremely comfortable which made me feel excited about getting this process finished! I even had the secretary go above and beyond to come find me before I left to get me scheduled in asap
Everyone was welcoming and cheerful. Wait time at every station was very brief. Beautiful campus, very caring and professional personnel. Experienced overseeing doctors introduced themselves to patients and were actively moving around and inspecting and reviewing the student doctors.
Had a tooth extracted today. And an emergency exam yesterday. Waited an hr 20. The student dentist yesterday(5 stars for her) was great very friendly kind and clear with information. While the desk ladies who checked me in, and the student dentist and student assistant(?) were nice, I did not have the consent form read prior or gone over with me nor the aftercare in depth until I asked (aftercare was given ) and reading what I signed after(for associated risks) the procedure is kind of scary 🤷♀️ yes I should’ve asked first but was kind of under a lot of anxiety at the time. As someone who works with consent forms you NEED to inform your client fully on the risks they’re agreeing to. I was also uncomfortable with how little time was given to let the numbing kick in and the felt impatience
Very efficient and professional team. Every single person I encountered was friendly, professional, accomodating and made me feel very comfortable. I also didn't have a wait time. Team was also very transparent about costs. I highly recommend this practice.
I have been going to the periodontic department. I saw Dr. James who made the assessment/treatment plan. She has been on time with our appointments, thorough, and gentle when working in my mouth..She helped my teeth, gums, and bite with aligning better on my 2nd visit, which provided immediate relief! I’m in good hands with Dr. James and confident that she’ll fix the issue. I’ll be there again in few weeks but no longer scared!
