Dr. Chen is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. It has been four month since he performed my prostatectomy and I am very pleased with the results. My PSA is non-detect and my recovery has been smooth and far ahead of the expected schedule. Through the whole process he has also been both professional and empathetic.

I've dealt with a lot of doctors, over my many years, and ones of Dr. Chen's caliber are rare indeed. When you deal with issues, like what he specializes in, you need a good explanation and plan of treatment and he provides that and then some. What I really appreciate is that, when he comes into the exam room, he sits down and talks. He's not distracted by test results, history or in some sort of hurry – he actually listens. His office is convenient with plenty of parking and a large, comfortable waiting room. The staff is especially cordial and very good at what they do. Dr. Chen, the people at the Fox Chase cancer urology department and the people at the Fox Chase Cancer Hospital, no matter what their job, went out of their way to help you out and make sure you were at ease. They explained all the options available. After 5 hours of surgery that I had, the follow up that I have been having is helping me make a very good recovery.
