The Therapy SPOT

Absolutely love The Therapy Spot! My daughter has been going here since April and it has been wonderful every step of the way. The front office staff is always so helpful with scheduling, and are so kind! Communication is always very clear, and it is obvious that all of the therapists truly care about the kiddos. We have worked directly with Abi (ST), Amy(OT) & Alyssa (OT) and they are awesome!

Highly recommend! The Therapy Spot has been a great support for our older daughter since starting OT there in 2024. Alyssa has a great rapport with her and engage her in a friendly, fun way. She has gone the extra mile to guide us to resources and information supporting our daughter's needs. At the and of the school day, our daughter might be tired but always leaves her sessions in a good mood which is amazing! Our other daughter just started with Amy and really likes her.

We’ve had such a great experience at The Therapy Spot over the past few months. My son has been receiving speech therapy with Abi Clark and occupational therapy with Amy Maurer, and both of them have been absolutely amazing with him. They’re patient, encouraging, and truly understand how to connect with him in a way that makes therapy enjoyable and effective. They’ve also been incredibly flexible with scheduling, which has been a huge help for our family. What really stood out to me is how proactive and supportive they’ve been—before I even asked, they had progress reports ready for us to bring to his autism evaluation, and when I mentioned we were starting ABA, they immediately offered to meet with his ABA provider to share what’s been working in therapy. Before even scheduling an appointment the front desk will check your insurance prior to coming in and then they’ll let you know if you have a co-pay. Received an email that we have a $0 co-pay and it’s covered for 30 services but then we get a bill for $1000. Not sure why the staff even bother verifying insurance if they do not properly know how to give patient estimates. In order to be seen at this office I suggest contacting the insurance yourself. It’s unfortunate, because we loved the therapist herself but because of the misinformation we will not be returning.

Muhiba and Abi are such great therapist. My son has speech delay and he usually doesn’t interact with people but they have gotten him out his shell and he loves going!! So does the wilderness. Haha
