The Smilist Dental Marlton Route 73

Had an appt at 2pm today. Showed up and building was closed/locked and called the office 3x with no answer. Called the Medford location and was told that they’ve been calling and texting patients that the office was closed. Personally did not receive any notice via call, text, or even email. I used to go to the Pleasantville office and really enjoy the staff, however after not being seen for almost a year now (due to that office closing and today’s occurrence) I will be moving on to another practice.

I used to go to this dentistry and never had an issue with the dentists and hygienistsn - they were fantastic. However, I stopped going because my husband and I have been receiving billing issues for over a year after we switched our health insurance. We have called multiple times and my husband has even stopped by the office in person to have our billing issues corrected, yet we still receive notifications that our payments have not been paid. The people working at the front desks do not seem competent with their jobs I noticed similar reviews indicating this. I would've continued to come here if the billing department/front desk assistance wasn't so terrible. I plan to get Invisalign, so I didn’t want to risk receiving additional billing issues by staying here.

I have been a patient for close to 15 years. Due to staffing issues they cancelled pts who had times on the half hour. They can’t get me in for months. No phone call all done by texts. When I did call, no apology, no empathy just a fake sugary sweet response. Moving on to a new dental practice.

Great dentists. Horrible monetary medical practice. They will “ hold” appointments for you when you say if you’re not sure you can make one. Then miss your voicemail to cancel the appointments then charge 50 dollars for the missed appointment. I wonder if this is the practice that they follow with many patients.? How many people just pay because otherwise they can be sent to collections?? Asked to speak with the medical director since this seemed like a bad business model. Apparently they don’t have done??! That’s a bit scary. Asked to speak with the regional director was told they can’t provide that information. So if you have issues, no will address them other than the manager of that office…. ? The staff and Dr. are always very courteous and professional. I've spent many hours in different dentist's chairs and I'm very pleased with the attentiveness of staff, Dr. Adler, and I have found the billing staff to be flexible and willing to work with my dental and implant insurance needs. I would highly recommend this office for new patients. I've been too so many dentists and od orthodontists, my root canals have root canals, better than 50k for a whole mouth rip and replace, I feel like I'm with family here..Happy New Year
