The PT Group - Penn Hills

My experience at the Physical Therapy Institute has been one of the most positive experiences with Physical Therapy I have ever had!!! From start to finish, I felt cared for like a family member being looked after very carefully and lovingly!!! The staff was very knowledgeable and treated me with much respect and dignity!!! Of course I didn't like some of the exercises I had to do, they were necessary and for my benefit as far as my healing process and recovery from a major Surgery standpoint!!! Jena and the other experts at The PT Group in Penn Hills were lovely to work with! I especially appreciated the advice and support for at-home care I could do on my own. Not only did they offer me equipment to take home, but they put together a specialized plan to help me continue on with my healing journey even after I was done attending PT sessions in-house. Would recommend!

Very nice and informative people. The exercises that were given to me truly helped my recovery. I had a limp and was unsteady on my feet. The therapist helped me gain strength and positivity. After a few months, I felt better about myself. After a year on my own, I'm not limping anymore. Thank you Penn Hill PT

The person I worked with for many of my visits was Jena. She was not pushy, but very positive when expressing what she needed me to do. She had a very calming presence about her too. She helped me visualize being able to be successful when doing various exercises. I liked the fact that she asked for my input, and how I felt throughout my visit. I could tell that she enjoys what she does. That’s important to me.

When I first walked in, I was thinking that this was just a "hoop" to jump through so that my insurance company would approve surgery. My shoulders were killing me! I was literally losing sleep. Everyone in this office was wonderful. My shoulders are not completely better, but they feel better than they have in years. WHEN I need to go back, I will look forward to seeing them all again, knowing the good that they have done for me (and blame the insurance company for disqualifying me for being "successful enough" instead of "healed", in the first place).
