The Pediatric Dentists Yucca Valley

My two year old has been coming here for about a year now and we’ve had great experiences so far. My daughter is always so excited to play with the toys they provide, and is always super happy when she gets her prize at the end. The staff has been very friendly and helpful with any questions we have, and have always been very supportive and empathetic towards our concerns. As a parent with a toddler who gets very scared and emotional with strangers, it’s always amazing to see how well behaved she is with them, and I feel that shows just how gentle and caring they are even with children who may give them a harder time. They will always get our family’s business!

I have brought my grandchildren and foster children for dental treatment since 2021. The staff is so understanding, kind and truly enjoy helping and sharing healthy tools for great dental care. My grandbabies feel comfortable and safe in learning even during exam about themselves etc. the office/treatment environment is clean, welcoming and professional. Thank you !!😊 Your team is awesome!! EXTREMELY unhappy with how the dental appointment for my 2.5 year old daughter went. Not only did I have to wait 35 min after my appointment time but the entire time with the doctor was about 2 minutes. During that time she was forcing my daughter’s mouth open, shoving toothbrushes, floss, and the mirror in her mouth without any explanation as to what was going on. Was getting frustrated when she would ask her to keep her mouth open and stop moving, even going as far as to force my daughters mouth closed when she asked her to bite down twice and she didn’t, because she didn’t understand. ( one time of me telling her to smile and show me cheese and she “bite down” like was needed) All of this happened in about 2 minutes. I would’ve taken her an extra 2 minutes to explain what she was doing

Difficulty coordinating treatment as a cash patient. Front office and back office communication was lacking between appointments but there’s multiple treating doctors. Front office had trouble applying discounted rate accurately to fees charged. There really aren’t any other options for pediatric dental in the high desert so you get what you get. *updating after reading response* I’ve included the final account balance to reflect the issue with fees. The charge of $28 5/16 for a X-ray did not receive the discount - possibly from post dating the fee. Granted a small difference in total cost but my review was accurate. Had the office manager handled things differently on the last visit I might not have bothered leaving a review.

They are wonderful. I have a 5 year old daughter and she always feels comfortable. The staff is patient and doesn’t push too hard. They don’t make us feel bad for being honest. We are very happy with them and we will be using them for the foreseeable future.
