The Palace Rehabilitation and Care Center

My grandfather was recently here for sub-acute rehab following a fall and subsequent hip fracture. Alexa and her rehab team were phenomenal! He loved his time in the therapy gym and has repeatedly stated how they are the best in the business! His nurse Fayth treated him like family! She made sure that every one of his questions and concerns were addressed. He was able to return home because of the care and services that he received while at The Palace. My family and I are so grateful!!

This place is disgusting, filthy, and smells terrible. My family member passed away because they got such a bad infection here that should have been seen, cleaned and treated before it became septic. I understand state run nursing homes can’t be a 5 star resorts, but there is no reason for the unsanitary conditions and lack of basic care. I won’t go into just how horrible things were.

The Staff seems to really care but the facility is by far the worst. I’m not big on asking for help so I went into this with an open mind when the ambulance that was transporting me pulled into the driveway I asked the ambulance driver just to take me home As much as I needed to rehab this place… I tried to prepare myself for the worst going or on the trip over to this palace. I could’ve never in 1 million years prepared myself for what I saw like I said the staff was good. Facility is a converted motel like on your way. I’m sure there’s a little motels here and there one of them. You may want to think twice before leaving a loved one there

As you can see all of the 5 star reviews are carbon copies of each other. All by employees. It must be a requirement for employment. I was there for three months and when I say that they droppped the ball on EVERY aspect of care, EVERY aspect. They had terrible food. Of the 6 or 7 times I ate their food, I got food poisoning 3 times. Getting them to give you a clean safe living area is impossible. I asked for a lock for my belongings because my stuff was stolen 3 times, which they said they would reimburse me for and never happened, and after 3 months I still didn’t get a lock. There are a few good nurses. But most of them do the bare minimum and are very rude and nasty to the residents. My roommate who was incontinent was left in his mess for 3 hours after his aide was told about it

When approaching Palace Care Center, I was impressed by the energetic staff, spotless surroundings, and absence of any unpleasant odors. My previous interactions with nursing homes were insignificant in compared to their friendly and inviting manner. I strongly recommend anyone in need of treatment to get in touch with them.
