The Oaks at Algonquin Senior Living

The decision to move my mom into a memory care facility was unexpected and difficult. The Oaks was impressive the minute we walked in from the comforts of home to the cleanliness to the wonderful staff we met along the way. In particular, the memory care manager, Jen, has been instrumental in the decision to move mom in. She is knowledgeable, empathetic, and has helped us every step of the way. It’s a difficult situation, but knowing my mom is in good hands puts our mind at ease.

My Mom has lived here for several years now, first in independent living and now in memory care. You hear horror stories about senior living facilities, but I have to say, this place is just exceptional. I firmly believe that the staff is helping make my mother's waning years as enjoyable as we could ever expect. The entire team there has been outstanding. I simply cannot recommend them enough.

I am at the beginning phase of moving my brother to assisted living. I visited 10 locations and the Oaks of Algonquin far exceeded my expectations. The building is beautiful, the amenities are amazing, the staff and residents that I met were so nice. The residents that I saw out and about told me how much they liked the place. My brother is moving in next month!!!! I am updating my review now that my brother has been there for 7 weeks. The Oaks of Algonquin is an amazing place for that family member that needs the next level of care and support. I recently move my brother into the building and what I can say is, oh my goodness!!!! The Oaks was very impressive when we visited and walked through. They seem to offer so many amenities. However, the assisted living care was not up to expectations. They were all very friendly and nice, however, they were lacking in timely support. Unsettling when it is needed

My mom lives at The Oaks and my brothers and I couldn't be more pleased with their services. Jenn and her team have always given mom the attention, care and respect she deserves and that has provided me peace of mind as I live many states away. They are kind and prompt with all replies. It's a lovely community. We feel blessed to have found The Oaks as a place for mom to call home.
