The Modern Chemist - PARK SLOPE

This pharmacy hasn’t had a stable pharmacist for a while but for the last few months I’ve got to say this new pharmacist Soraya I believe her name is, is absolutely wonderful! She is super effective in resolving any issues related to my prescriptions and is always ahead of anything going wrong! She has reached out to me many times beforehand to make sure everything is ready to go when I walk in and it feels refreshing to finally have such pleasant experiences at a pharmacy. Hope she’s here to stay!

I never leave reviews but I just had to give this pharmacy a shout out ! The pharmacist here goes out of her way to be helpful! This place works so efficiently and genuinely cares about getting you what you need. It was busy but she was able to take care of me quickly and worked with my doctor I. They were overall really kind and understanding.

Edit: I now always call 5-10 days before my med is due. Not running into issue anymore! Not ideal but not horrible. Would be difficult for someone with executive dysfunction or more fatigue Edit: voicemail now works but appears they don’t really check it? I still had to call again to try to get my prescription. There’s always some type of communication issue or delay — Low review mostly because voicemail is full and I can never reach them to fill my script. Will update if they fix the voicemail box issue They’ve been okay to work with - one of the compounding pharmacists is great! Usually (almost every time) an issue getting my script because they clearly understaff. This is the only MC location left that does compounding (that I know of) and lately I’ll be told it’s 5 days or more to g

Not a good experience. I came to pick up a prescription that I need daily. When I arrived they told me I was out of refills. I was not notified of this before hand, and was already out! They did not offer to help- in any way. In fact, the worst part was how the woman spoke to me. I called my doctor- and she said there were plenty of refills left. My guess is that they looked up the wrong person? Again, my biggest issue was how I was spoken to. I changed to the 4th Avenue location and they had my prescription ready upon arrival.

Amazing experience, I will absolutely be sending my future prescriptions here. Staff was so friendly and attentive. No long wait and the pharmacist was able to answer all my questions. Love it here !!
