After my son had a very bad experience getting his first wisdom tooth extracted at a dental office in Boston, he decided to travel to Maryland to see Dr. Sharon Russell for the remaining three extractions. It was the best decision he could have made. During the visit, Dr. Russell pointed out that the previous extraction site was at risk of infection due to remaining bone fragments that had been left behind. She carefully addressed the issue, thoroughly debrided the area, and prescribed antibiotics to prevent infection. Started my treatment here a little over six months ago. I’m here to do an implant procedure. About four months ago I did the root augmentation. Came back today to see if the area is healed. We did the X-ray and I’m hoping to speak with the doctor before placing the implant. The process has been great so for and my experience here is fairly good. I’ll be here to update or write more reviews as to the final work when all goes well. In the meantime, I love it.

From reading the reviews I was feeling confident in going to this place for my oral surgery. I was looking forward to meeting Dr. Russell as the reviews speak so highly of but instead, I had Dr. Price, whom may have had a bad day yesterday. He had no bedside hospitality, he bluntly greeted me when he walked in the room, right then and there I felt uneasy. Usually doctors would smile, give you a warm welcome, assure that you’re in good hands to make you feel comfortable (I was extremely nervous & received none of that.) The best dental practice I have ever experienced in my 74 years! Upon entering the nicely appointed waiting room, I was warmly greeted by Elma, the receptionist. Within minutes, I was escorted by Ms. Johnson to the state-of-the-art 3D X-ray equipment. Moments later, I was escorted to the exam room where Ms. Johnson took my vitals. The doctor’s assistant, Bronson, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Although I was nervous, the warm and calming staff and atmosphere immediately set me at ease.
