The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing of Canton

My sister in law went to the loft just recently. I had contacted others, but they were unable to take her. From Lisa, Katie and Mary, we received kindness, helpful and information promptly. In fact, that horrible mcDonough hospital, called us at 10am on friday, stating we are releasing her today. She needs a nursing home or she can go home. Absolutely unbelievable, cold indifference ! I was in a panic, on the phone trying to find a place. I called the loft at 12:15. Katie the admission coordinator took care of everything and had her set up to go to the Loft by 4:30 that same day. They are putting smart tv's and updating to a 4 star level. The staff alone makes this a 5 STAR Facility. Mike and I are relieved. Karen is safe and we'll cared for. I would like to give less than 1 star however it won’t allow me to. My father was a “patient” at The Loft- I am using the term loosely - as it seems they had issues feeding him correctly yet medicating him with enough meds to knock a horse out. While my father stayed there he became paralyzed from the chest down during what was supposed to be physical therapy- but he was sent home, with instructions to “do what he could”. While staying there my mother wasn’t able to get any information on his well being, prognosis or medications- what steps they were taking to get him better or even if they could. He was sent home- and died a month later. Now they are sending my mother bills (in the wrong name) and when she still calls they refuse to go over anything stating they can’t-won’t tell her docto

My mother was a resident at The Loft of Canton. She received the best care from a great team. Every single staff member was kind, caring, and compassionate. She truly enjoyed her time at The Loft. Thank you to a great team and their compassion to others.

My husband was sent here for rehab on 5/17. They had old beds and furniture. Not prepared for pt. Called and asked why my husband has not had his pain med that was over 2 hours late. He had been at facility since 6:45 pm.He was due for med at 9 pm it was after 11:30 PM before they even inquired about them. I called and asked them why and they gave the same excuse that they gave at 9 PM. I was not happy and let them know. My daughter was leaving at the time I called and the staff was mocking me from my phone conversation I had just had with the nurse. My daughter confronted them and they shut up. They were very unprofessional. My husband broke his femur off at his hip joint and it is very very painful. I asked OSF hospital before we left if I could get his pain meds from our pharmacy becaus

My sister has gone to the Loft. The staff there is so kind and helpful . They always keeps me informed of all her medical needs. I highly recommend this facility, because their ACTIONS show they truly care about their residents. More importantly she is content and feels safe. We thank you!!
