The Iowa Clinic Urgent Care - Ankeny Campus

Stopped at Hy Vee to check my blood pressure, as wasn't feeling well. 168 over 82. Went to Iowa Clinic Urgent Care. Told the receptionist my symptoms, breathing hard high blood pressure. She instructed me it would be a 2 and a half hour wait to get checked out. This was Saturday December 27. Told her I would have to leave, couldn't wait that long. She said are you sure, I told her I was having troubles and left to get to Unity Point Urgent Care on Ankeny north side took me right away to check my pressure after hearing my symptoms.

I came to the clinic an hour and 10 minutes before closing. I was turned away because they weren't taking any more patients. This would be a good thing to know before driving 20 min. Not great customer service! Maybe when hours are posted, those are the hours people can get help! Really disappointed!

We were treated with expert care! Everyone was so nice... and made you feel cared for. After all morning there, we had surgery that afternoon! Excellence all day. Thank You Iowa Clinic you all were beyond FANTASTIC. Gary Jetter

I stopped in Friday November 15th. I had chest pain and high blood pressure. The lady at the front desk told well we only have one provider. I waited an hour and left. I went to Mercy Urgent Care and they got me in, in 5 minutes. Apparently, chest pain is not a priority to Ankeny IA Clinic Urgent Care.

I'm going to start with the fact I've been using this urgent care for nearing 9 years. Not only do they use my chosen name and pronouns, but they've also pretty well always been quick and courteous. A lot of the negative reviews on here seemed to expect either PCP services or Emergency services out of an urgent care, which is not realistic. I've had no problems with care or any of the doctors or nurses and this is my best bet when I'm feeling under the weather. 10/10
