I have never had a bad experience at this campus. Lived in this community my entire life!! The x-ray department gets a 10 out of 10. Great service and today the technician Bonnie was so nice. I was in and out, she was just very sweet. Always get treated the best at this campus in Southington.

I was referred to HOCC in Southington for physical therapy for my shoulder. The staff was polite and I received services as I expected. However, after 5 visits I received my bill. I was charged an average off more than $514 per hour for the visits costing me out of pocket more than $2000. Since I have a high deductible I simply had to pay. This was not complicated PT. This was basic stretching. I was shown a few exercises and given a stretch band. That’s it! Apparently they are allowed to charge this outrageous amount simply because the location is inside a hospital. I attempted to appeal the charge with the hospital and with my insurance company, but was not successful. Beware of these unfair hikes in cost at any hospital location.

Rushed here in an ambulance, that somehow didn’t have any tissues, just to get walked to the waiting room during the emergency and had to wait at least 15-20 minutes. Was given a shot and had the nurse watch blood fall down my arm before getting a bandaid, and I still had to ask to get one before the nurse walked away with an attitude. While waiting for a ride in the lobby to leave, I watched other people get seen faster and receive more accommodation than I did. DO NOT COME (especially if black).

Went here last night and was put in a room quickly. The hospital staff was kind, attentive, quick, and informative about my care. My nurse, Nikki, was wonderful. I would highly recommend this emergency room.
