My mother came to the SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) after a 3 day hospital stay for her fractured pelvis. She arrived the Friday of the terrible ice storm 4 weeks ago which delayed her start of therapy. Once we started, the level of care and concern was truly excellent. From nursing to PT to food quality as well as aides and doctor visits we were very satisfied. After her 3 weeks stay she was walking well with a walker and had regained strength to go home. They helped with that transition and the care she is getting at home is good. She did lose 13 pounds total (despite very tasty food and solid options each meal) but at the halfway point after expressing concerns the dietitian and nutritionist were amazing coming up with ideas to help including an appetite stimulant. My great uncle was a resident at The Hallmark Nursing Facility, and overall our experience was very positive. There were a few minor issues, but the quality of care he received truly stood out. He had excellent aides and physical therapists, especially Gabriel and aide Noelle. They consistently got him out of bed, encouraged movement, and always took their time with him. They were patient, kind, and truly cared about his progress. The facility was also always very clean. There were a few aides I noticed who could be short with patients, including my great uncle, but I don’t want to base my entire experience on that, as it was not the majority. Overall, he was very much at peace during his stay. What impressed me most was his recovery. When he arrived, he was barely walking and was incon

My mother was in the (SNF) Skilled Nursing Facility at The Hallmark for nearly two years after her stroke in February 2023. My mother lost 90% of her ability on her left side and was bedbound, unable to use the restroom or even read which she loved to do. She also suffered from early to mid-stages of dementia. After trying and visiting a few other SNFs, I chose The Hallmark because of its friendly and comfortable feel and also because of its location. After a few months it became clear the The Hallmark was the right choice. Being bedbound requires a lot of attention; besides frequent brief changes, a CNA had to get her out of bed and into a wheelchair for each meal, exercise class, activities, therapies, bathing, hair and nail appointments, or to simply watch TV with the other residenc

The entire staff lied to me, my wife and my sister-in-law to our faces about both my father and mother in Law's cooperativeness and condition. To our faces they said everything was great, while we were at the facility and could have addressed any issues. Later they called and told us the patients were horrible and needed special isolation and expensive care. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - or they'll make you pay.

Do NOT trust this place. My 93 year old Grandmommy was a patient here and they let her almost die. They REFUSED to take her to the ER until our family threatened to sue them for malpractice. They finally took her and by the time she was there, she was almost dead. She was in desperate need of oxygen and proper medicine for a UTI that had almost become septic. I am INFURIATED with the lack of training, empathy and BRAINS this place has. They sure do have excuses though that's for sure. Please someone hold this place accountable and SHUT IT DOWN.
