The Guardian Center

I cannot make enough positive comments regarding the care my husband has received while rehabbing at the Guardian Center. Under the guidance of their leader, Nancy Zraizza, the staff has made every effort to develop the sense that our loved one is part of their family. He has been treated with dignity and respect. Special shout out to aides Lynda McIntosh and Lucy Brandao for their gentle care and cheerful vibe.

The Guardian Center was a great help in my father's recovery post stroke. Nancy Zraizza and the staff were amazing assets and cared for him like he was family. Lynda McIntosh and Lucy Brandao went above and beyond.

I was sent to Guardian Health on Main Street, Brockton Mass after two broken shoulders with surgery on one. I arrived 24 hours after recovery. Ambulance driver asked if I knew where I was going? First Red Light!! I was delivered to 3rd floor. Not one person spoke English. This was 4:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. They plopped a tray in front of me shortly after. It was a 10 cent hamburger roll with a tablespoon of Sloppy Joe mix and a side of dead cold , dried out Lima beans. Nasty old dirty coffee that was room temp. I could not feed myself with two broken shoulders. I asked for help. Not a chance!! No one would help me get to bathroom, so they decided to put me in diaper and leave me alone. I was recently at Guardian visiting a cousin. I was thrilled with her progress and recovery. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Nancy, the administrator, was kind and caring. She was very understanding regarding our concern and reassured us in no time. She seems to sincerely care about all the residents there. I am glad that my cousin is in such good hands.

A family member of mine was at the guardian center for a few months recently and had a wonderful experience. Staff was very accommodating and always supportive to my loved one. Nancy, the administrator always made us feel welcome in the building. The food was pretty good and the kitchen manager was attentive at providing my mom with her preferences. The dietitian, Elisha also spent a lot of time helping to provide support on her diabetic diet and even printed us a great resource to take home with us! We are very grateful for all the care the Guardian center has provided to our mom!
