The Gardens at Blue Ridge

The Gardens at Blue Ridge Nursing Home features a clean, pleasant environment and attentive staff. The garden and activities are well-received, though response times can be slow at times. Overall, it's a good option for supportive care.

I have never been in a place so horrible, I can't believe it's allowed to be open. The smell of urine is so strong that it take your breath away, the building looks like it need to be demolished. Let's not talk about the staff, and the way they served the pt foods, like they are feeding pigs. My hearts breaks for the patient that are still there and have no one to speak for them. If you have a family member there, and you can, get them out. I'm so sorry that I allowed my family member to stay there for two weeks. Everything the social worker say is a lie. I wouldn't let my dog stay there.

A beloved family member was there for rehab. The rehab therapists were awesome. Richard, the aide was wonderful as well. As far as the rest of the staff, below normal care . No showers unless I questioned them, patient was made to have her bowel movement in her bed,(no bedpan), head day nurse was very disrespectful when I asked her questions. Absolutely no cleaning was done for two weeks. Please don't send your loved ones there

It is always hard to place a love one in a nursing home no matter where it’s located. My father got placed at the Gardens Of Blue Ridge on February 2, 2022. I have to say I have been extremely grateful for everyone there. The administration that I had to deal with when my dad first got admitted were absolutely the most caring and thoughtful people they treated me not just as a patient’s family member but as their own family member. They never hesitated to tell me if I ever need anything or have any questions they will be there to help me and if they can’t help me they will find someone who can get me answers that I may need. When I go in and visit my father everything always is cleaned and looks presentable and he always looks like he has been well taken care of.. as his daughter that’s al

My father was there and he had cancer and there was one nurse that he loved and told me that was his girl. Her name is Mischa and she is the day shift nurse. She took care of my dad like he was her family and treated my whole family with the highest respect. The day my dad passed she was there and I am so grateful for her and she was there for me at my time of need to. If I could I would give her a raise because she goes above and beyond her duties.. Mischa I am so grateful to you and I will always remember my dad's time he had left and what you did for him. God bless you and The Gardens of Blue Ridge is lucky to have you 💙
