The Family Clinic - Opelousas

This is a group of very excellent doctors and nurses who are professionals yet are very friendly and make you feel at ease and listen to you and they make sure that they understand what your problem is and they take their time to explain your issue and the treatment plan clearly before you leave they also follow up with you to make sure that you are improving and they have a system that lets you know when your medications have been sent to your pharmacy. With this group you have a primary physician but if you have an urgent problem they will always work you in to see someone else to make sure that you are promptly taken care of. As a retired nurse of more than 30 years I have found this group of medical professionals to be some of the best I have ever worked with or have seen as a patient.

Let's be honest all insurances are not created equally. I've been with this group almost 20 years. Once my health started to rapidly, lost my job and had to go on medicaid. Everything changed! They no longer accepted adult medicaid and you can not pay cash. I'm disappointed 😞 really but I get it, it's not personal only business!
