Great office staff and the Dr is awesome. They take time with you and address all issues. Got fitted for back up glasses and ordered another scleral lens. Efficient and friendly! Definitely 5 stars!

I thought the Doctor was nice. I got glasses and they were terrible. The staff convinced me that I just had to get used to them. I finally left and tried, but could not get used to them. When I returned they figured out that the axis was 180 degrees off. They fixed it on 1 of the sets of glasses i got from them but not the other. I could not get use to either pair and tried for several weeks. Lots of waisted time. To make sure that it wasn't a "me" problem, I've tired 2 other places since this experience and glasses felt comfortable immediately. The staff at The Eyecare Center made feel uncomfortable since they thought that i was lying about the lenses in my glasses being wrong. Once they discovered that it was their mistake, they only offered to fix one of the sets that I had purchased.

I took my husband here to get his eyes checked, and these guys were great! The ladies at the front desk were so helpful, kind, and funny! The gal who took us to the back clearly knows what she's doing, and was happy to answer any questions we had. Dr. Merrell was fantastic! He is very experienced and was happy to show us everything he was looking at, and walked us through my husband's eye health. He was really nice and funny, just a good guy all around. The gal that ordered the glasses for us was so helpful!! She helped us learn what our insurance can cover, and got us an amazing deal on glasses that my husband feels confident and comfortable in. I would recommend these guys to anyone in the area, especially with vsp insurance. 10/10 great office

I have 6 kids all with their own unique vision issues, some way more difficult than others. Dr Porter has spent time and effort to make sure they all have their own individual needs met and has never charged me extra to find what works best for each of them. The office staff has been great to work with my schedule for appointments and dealing with any concerns. I highly recommend!

I've been putting off my appointment because of schedule conflicts but I'm so glad I FINALLY went in. The staff are genuine, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly. Dr. Porter is excellent and has great rapport. Being that this visit was my first in almost 2 years and my first consultation for contacts the Eyecare Center has really has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the healthcare professionals here and will be choosing them for my family.
