The Dental Office Of Prosper and Orthodontics

I have been a patient at this dental office for some time, but unfortunately, I had a very disappointing billing experience that I think others should be aware of. In late 2026, I received a call that my regular dentist at this office had left and that I would be assigned a new dentist. I agreed to this as it sounded like a default and I had an ongoing in-network relationship with the facility. What they did not tell me is that this new dentist was not credentialed for Delta Dental (out of network) - one of the largest insurance providers for dental services. I could not wait to make this post when I first walked in there. I’m like oh God they gonna charge me 1,000 because i have already seen about 4 dentist office came examined my mouth. Staff was awesome. The dentist is amazing so I’m just saying when you’re thinking that there is no one out there to help you go Dr Do

We have been coming for a few years and love Dr. Do and Ashley the hygienist (Reason for the stars) but after taking my son today I am so frustrated with their billing and insurance practices. They pushed a preventative procedure that is normally covered at 100% every 24 months to be done early or it will get worse. They didn’t share about it being covered 100% if I would have waited and said they don’t look up that info, and that we should have asked about it. I expect that information to be given when explaining the treatment plan. We even asked why the price was so high and they didn’t mention it then either. We will not be returning.

Dr.Do and his staff are some of the sweetest and most welcoming staff I have ever encountered! Everyone from reception, the assistant, hygienist, and Dr. Do himself were super informative and personal. I am usually scared about any dental work but because of everyone being so kind I was able to have an anxiety free appointment and look forward to having my future check ups here.

If you are here for the ortho/brace, be aware that the orthodontist is extremely busy. If you have an active school kid in band or sports and had to reschedule your 4 week appointment you might have to wait another 2-6 weeks for reschedule your monthly appointment. I have been extremely frustrated with the front office’s scheduling and communication multiple times in my last one year of ortho treatment. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this location for braces as their orthodontist is extremely busy and booked up. Learnt the hard lesson to go to an office that has in-house orthodontist so it’s easy to reschedule if there is a need to as life happens and not wait few more weeks for the next appointment.
