Barnlight Kids Dental

I take both my toddlers to Barnlight Dental and have enjoyed everyone appointment with them. Dr. Steve is great with the kids, he is approachable and meets the kiddos at their development ages. We were very nervous about how the kids would do with cleanings but they have gone so smoothly. Having two kids close in age has been hard as a mom, my son still uses a pacifier at night at the age of 3. We are working on getting over that, but Dr. Steve has never once made us feel bad for this. He educates us on the impact of using the paci at his age but also said how difficult having young children can be and that it is understandable having these habits still. As a parent, that validation meant more that he could ever imagine! I highly recommend his office for young kiddos. Thank you Barnlight D

We had an incredible experience with Dr. Steve and his entire team. My 6 year old needed an emergency extraction, and I was honestly very nervous going in but they handled everything with such patience, kindness, and skill. They took the time to explain the process, keeping my daughter calm and comfortable the entire time. They made what could have been a scary experience feel safe and even positive. The extraction was so smooth that neither my daughter nor I even realized the tooth was out. They even made it fun by having the tooth “jump out with the nurse catching it”. Her recovery was easy, and she left smiling instead of scared. I’m incredibly grateful for their care and would highly recommend Barnlight Dental to any parent looking for a pediatric dentist they can trust.

We recently moved to TX and were looking for an in-network provider to take care of our 3 childrens’ teeth. They were able to schedule all 3 children's appointments at the same time and never even suggested I not join them! That was a concern because of our background: Our previous pediatric dentist in CO had a larger office and more beds for cleaning multiple kids’ teeth at once….but they always encouraged parents to wait in the waiting room. I didn’t like having to push back on this…but compared to the provider before that who insisted my daughter receive speech therapy and surgery for a nonexistent tongue-tie because she had a thumb sucking habit that she hadn’t overcome by the age of 3 (the dentist thought that was deeply concerning and required severe interventions), I was happy to d

If you prefer a more conservative approach to dentistry, Dr. Steve is an excellent choice. The staff is kind and professional. Dr. Steve is very knowledgeable and honest. He was able to explain evidence based research on his recommendations. My son and I both felt very comfortable with Dr. Steve and his staff . We definitely will be returning.

We love Dr Steve!!! All 3 of my kids literally get excited to go to the dentist because of the wonderful experience him and his staff provide. My littlest one went from refusing to open her mouth to laughing while Dr Steve is looking at her teeth. All of the girls who work there are the sweetest too!
