Prosper Eye Room

I came here for my daughter based on the reviews. However once we decided we were not going to purchase glasses for her, their demeanor totally changed. Also come to find out, they do NOT provide the PD measurement (required when ordering glasses) as a normal entry on the glasses RX! They will only provide if you buy the glasses from them! This makes the glasses RX completely meaningless unless you use it at their location. Unreal. I’ve been going to Costco for myself for many years, it’s always a standard input on my RX despite not buying glasses at Costco. This visit was a total waste of time and money, considering I cannot even purchase the prescription glasses without the PD data point. Buyer be warned.

This optometrist is closer to my home. Associate of Dr. Krystal Hoover is Dr. Heather Porter who was nice to the individual and she took care of the patients effectively. Liked the other associates also in this facility. They have small examination room at the back and cleanly maintained. The waiting area is clean and have many glasses are on shelf. The glasses been displayed there seems expensive and having premium brands but not too much in collection. Would love to visit this facility again during my annual exam.

Wow what a great experience! Ashley was my absolute favorite it was my first time getting an eye exam in many years which can be scary and she made it so easy and made me laugh the whole time! Dr. Houston was incredible & patient as this was my first time ever getting glasses! I can’t forget the exam room under the colorful lights which looked liked stars!! At the end of the visit Vincent helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses! I had a slight issue with the stigmatism portion of my glasses and they happily scheduled me an appointment and was able to fix replace the lenses with no cost which I thought was so amazing! I really do appreciate how professional and knowledgeable all the staff was! Thank you!

This place is amazing!!! From the exam room with the "starry ceiling" and the HUGE variety of frames with the exclusive name brands to the "Buy 1, get 1, give 1" mission and the EXCELLENCE treatment one gets as soon as we step in the door. Dr. Wally and his wife Sarah are about giving back, a kingdom minset and about taking care of people's eyes. For someone who's always had 20/20 vision I was a little hesitant to get my eyes checked, once we finshed the exam and Dr. Wally went through the detailed explanation on how everything works when someone starts using glasses I felt very good understanding the process, I've had them for a week now and let me tell you I'm so glad I went to Prosper Eye Room. I had a pet emergency that morning, a sick kid, and I showed up with a geriatric dog in a cone and a shirtless toddler. Regardless everyone from the front staff, techs, assistants, and Dr Houston were very welcoming and professional and making sure the rest of my hot mess crew was okay. They gave great care and helped me out with my severe dry eye. Highly recommend them!
