The Comfort Place Massage

I contacted the business and was quoted $150 for a 90-minute deep tissue massage. Early in the session, the therapist said my right rhomboid was tight and offered to “focus on it” for an additional $20. I agreed, assuming that meant extra time or an add-on beyond the 90 minutes. It did not. The session still lasted 90 minutes, but I was charged $170 at the end. If I’m quoted a price for a 90-minute massage, I expect addressing problem areas to be part of that service, not a surprise upsell mid-session. Checkout was also uncomfortable. I was pressured to tip on the spot, with the payment device held in front of me while I was asked how much I would add. I had a great massage with Rita. I did the deep tissue massage. She found areas on my body that had issues and she worked on those areas. Some areas hurt a lot and others didn’t. But it was good pain because it fixed and healed my spots where I had limited range of motion, etc. My body feels like it’s opened up finally all thanks to Rita. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

She has a delightful quirk - she likes to give you a massage that she knows will help you, which might not always be what you had in mind. Listen to her. Deep work cannot be hurried.
