The cafeteria in the Pavilion has great staff and food choices. The 7th and 8th floor staff are amazing they treat you like a human and show they care. I'm a hard person to deal with when it comes to my family, and they are good to patients and loved ones. You get treated how you treat them while their trying to save your loved ones life.

This is an ER, I have realistic expectations about wait times in an ER as well as staff efficiency overall: *Thank you, Dr. Ekwonu *Thank you, RN. Bob *Thank you to the wonderful Ultrasound technician who administered the scan of the back of my knee (I apologize, I accidentally deleted her name in my notepad. She has beautiful twist out hairstyle, please find her and tell her i said thank you again!!) I was there for 7 hours this past Tuesday into early Wednesday. EVERYONE was courteous, professional, thorough had wonderful rapport skills ands well as considerate of my situation. They checked and tested everything necessary/ appropriate to give me a discharge stamp of approval. I was one of the lucky patients that were able to walk out at the end of all services and tests rendered and w

Was very impressed by this hospital and I'm a nurse myself. Things like using curos caps religiously and two nurses signing off on changes to heparin drips. Patient food looked excellent. And my goodness, the hospital rooms were like a luxury hotel with all private rooms. This is important for discouraging the spread of illness by respiratory droplets between 2 patients. The cafeteria was a little less exciting than I had hoped but still, the important parts shined. Highly recommend.

My husband recently had an esophagectomy at the Pavilion at Penn Medicine, and I cannot say enough about the level of care he received. This is an extremely difficult surgery with a challenging recovery, and he spent 10 days in the hospital. From the very first day to the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond in every possible way. The nurses were nothing short of incredible. They were compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to his healing and comfort. They anticipated his needs before we even had to ask, and they treated him with the utmost respect and dignity. Their patience, kindness, and skill gave us peace of mind during such a stressful time. I have never experienced care like this in my life. The teamwork, professionalism, and genuine compassion at the Pavilion are

I had hip replacement surgery with the exceptional Dr. Cara Cipriano at this hospital 9/2025 and the building is so beautiful you feel more relaxed just walking in. Staff are friendly and helpful, all healthcare members nurses, anesthisia, the transport team, etc. made me feel well cared for. Parking was easy and the photo below is me (center) outside the hospital getting ready to check in at 6:15am. This is the 4 Seasons of Hospitals!
