The Center for Sports and Physical Therapy UMass Memorial - Marlborough Hospital

Excellent experience!!! Fantastic location, plenty of parking, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. My therapists, Dan and Sonya, developed an individualized treatment plan of exercises and stretches to improve my mobility and flexibility, reduce pain, and prevent further injury. They also explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout my weekly therapy sessions. It was a pleasure to work with them. Would highly recommend The Center for Sports and Physical Therapy UMass Memorial.

I went to the center after spraining my ankle and breaking my fibula. Over the course of my visits I worked with Hope, Sonya, Paul and Dan. All therapists were compassionate, attentive and always explained what "our" goals were to get me back to my pre injury level of fitness. At each appointment my therapist worked solely with me. With their knowledge, guidance and supervised exercises I progressed to discharge. I would recommend this facility and staff (including administrative staff) to anyone in need of PT.

Hope and Paul helped me to recover from my struggle with sciatica. They not only helped me to get back on track but also taught me how to continue to keep healthy and progressing on my own. I am now pain-free, and I could not thank them enough for all of their help. I would highly recommend The Center for Sports and Physical Therapy.

TL;DR: I am forever grateful to Dan and Sonya for helping me get back to a level of activity that I had not seen in the five years since having my daughter. Long story: Having been active my entire life, I knew I wanted to be in the best shape possible before having a child. 2019, pregnant and active through my pregnancy, looking to get back into things after post-partum recovery. Fast forward a few months and I couldn't increase my activity without pain in my right side. Pain that would keep getting worse the more I worked out. In the three years that followed, I tried everything. I saw doctors from a number of specialties, PCP, OB , sports medicine, ortho, PMNR and osteopathic. I had imaging- xrays, MRIs, and ultrasounds. Just want to thank Dr Tarah Joseph and Sonya May for helping to elevate the pain in my hip and leg. They were very thorough in explaining the exercise/procedure and how it would work. They listened to my questions and explained what to do. They were patient and kind. The receptionist was very personable to everyone . I highly recommend this facility.
