I’m not usually someone who writes reviews, but I felt compelled to share this in case it helps someone who may be anxious or unsure. I was admitted to The Brooklyn Hospital Center on December 31st for a myomectomy—my first time ever being hospitalized. From the Pre-Op Unit, to Recovery, and then to the Post-Op Unit on the 8th Floor, the staff were professional, kind, and incredibly compassionate. My anxiety was high, but I truly felt heard, supported, and cared for every step of the way. As a Registered Nurse Manager, I am usually on the other side of care delivery. In that moment, I was simply a patient in need—and the care I received was provided with grace, empathy, and professionalism, without anyone knowing who I was. I would like to recognize Nurses Jeremiah . Willams and Jessica from the evening shift at The Brooklyn Hospital. They provided the best patient care I have ever experienced. Even with the challenges of being short‑staffed, they remained attentive, compassionate, and incredibly professional. Their dedication, patience, and kindness made a difficult situation so much easier. They are truly an asset to your team, and I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional care they provided.

I just got out of the pediatric admitting center here, in the 5 floor with my 7 yr old daughter, she stood there for 3 days, and this is the 2nd time 2 of my daughters got admitted here, and i dont have no complaint, they provided my babies with the best patient care i ever experienced, in the 2 times i was here with my kids, they are always so attentive and so professional, their patience, dedication and kindness deserves an award, they made sure my daughter was feeling happy comfortable and well taking care of, i am really grateful for the care these nurses and Doctors provided my daughter, and i came all the way from manhattan bcse i know this is one of the top best hospitals. I dont change this hospital for none.😍😍😇😇💖💖

Brookly hospital has got to be one of the best hospitals in the whole entire state of new York, I went to have an ultrasound done today and the people who run the Radiology clinic are very kind and very knowledgeable! if ever i need tests done i absolutely want to go to BROOKLYN HOSPITAL!! hands down. the hospital is very clean, very advanced and the staff makes you feel very comfortable. This is a terrible hospital. It is dysfunctional; my elderly mother has been here for 1.5 weeks, the ICU care was decent, but in cardiac telemetry she is neglected. Twice, while I've visited, she has not gotten meals. The nurse, Scott, blames the kitchen, the kitchen blames the system. They say even if you speak with an administrator it makes no difference. They do no give timely therapy and patients end up laying in a hospital bed, waiting away. When we called the ambulance, we said take us to Methodist, but they brought us here because of the severity of her condition. This place is a horrible place akin to a type of hell.
