My son needed ankle surgery to put pins in his ankles aftet a nasty fall. We're from Wichita, KS. Our doc was only privileged in Hebron, Nebraska at Thayer Health System. We made the drive from Wichita because I felt our doctor would take care of my son better than any of our other options. Surgery was done by our doctor. Every step was accommodated for my son who is nonverbal autistic. The nurses in surgery and recovery were amazing. From getting me breakfast (!) to keeping me informed about the surgery to helping us to the car. Everything was done with care and compassion and I'm very glad I chose to take my son to Thayer County Health.

Not worth the time to even hope you'll live in the ER. Even the doctors don't do their job right. November 2023 I had almost lost my life to a seizure, they only gave me a CT scan and blamed it on "drugs I was taking" which I wasn't taking any. Then told me I need to see a neurologist. They sent the wrong referral form making me unable to get an appointment, tried to correct it again February 2024 with no paperwork being sent afterwards, calling them to fix the issue they'll tell you they will and then they don't . If you want to live or get real medical assistant or need to keep your health in check go anywhere else but here, they will kill you before you'll even get step 1 of help .

HORRIBLE HOSPITAL. My mom went to this hospital on the 26th of December with respiratory issues and stomach pain! They diagnosed her with the flu instead of doing anything of real help! Then, on January 1st, she died of loss of oxygen! NO ONE TOOK HER SERIOUSLY. No doctor helped her here. I wouldn't take my dieing dog to this hospital because they haven't done anything of real help for me or my family.

We just recently added our newest member into our family. All of the doctors, nurses, and assistants were great. Couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more precious time in our lives. A great big thank you to Thayer central health for doing a great job and especially doing it over the Thanksgiving holiday. We couldn't be more blessed.

Been on hold for 25 minutes trying to get an appointment. This place sucks. Funny they only reply to good reviews. Pathetic. And by the way check your bill twice.
