Visited my grandmother recently, and could not help but notice the strong odors in the facility. Her room was also very unkept, and briefs and wipes left out in the open. Also a dirty brief was left in her trash can. This was upsetting, and when I confronted the charge nurse, she informed me they could not have aides constantly changing trash since they were short with only two aides caring for 32 people.
I’ve seen my fair share of facilities, but this one takes the cake. The DON does NOT care about the residents, and the ADON is unprofessional and constantly is spreading rumors about said DON. I’ve never met to so unprofessional individuals.
