I have seen Dr. Kevin Smith for my trigger thumb, which was corrected with surgery. I have seen Dr. Alexander Nguyen for a sprained ankle & I have had shots for my knee & therapy for my knee in the past also. I am happy to say that with the x-ray at my appointment on this part Wednesday, my ankle was not broken but just badly sprained. I trust the Dr.'s here & have never had any issues with the service or billing.
Don’t listen to anybody who says this clinic isn’t worth your time (I’m looking at you, one-star reviews). I was injured just before a cross-country move, causing a delay in my treatment and tons of confusion and uncertainty. Additionally, my recovery was complicated by a DVT. Every single interaction I have had with EVERY single person has been nothing less than genuine care and compassion. That goes for Dr. Nguyen, as well as the entire physical therapy staff and front desk team. I have never felt like I was in more capable hands.
This review does not reflect on the doctors as I never got to see one. The clinic uses a call center, evidently based overseas, to book appointments. And let me say this, I wish they would have taken some money from what they spent on the interior design and decorating and spent it on hiring local workforce and training them instead. There was a total break in communication between the appointment setters and the clinic staff resulting in constant delays and annoying back and forth for referrals from my PCP. These guys need to learn to respect time and the human element rather than focusing on sales and profits at all times. After almost 3 weeks of back and forth, I was told that they had acquired the requisite referral from my PCP to address my issues. I was informed of an appointment da
Shaniqua was so rude to my elderly mom. Shocking the lack of compassion shown towards an elderly adult in pain getting x-rays. Training should cover compassion!
We had a follow up visit to Texas Children’s Sports Medicine (The Woodlands) for our child’s arm injury. After 6 weeks of restriction, we were expecting to have an x-ray taken to compare to the original x-ray from the first visit. We (along with my child’s PT specialists) were anticipating this x-ray to understand progression of healing and to provide insight into if he could return to throwing (baseball/football). We were told there would be no follow up x-ray because it “would not determine if [my child] could return to throwing”. We insisted on an x-ray but were told no one would be available to perform the image. We sought a second opinion and concluded that, in the future, we would not return to Texas Children’s Sports Medicine as we were not comfortable with the lack of direction at
