Texas MedClinic Urgent Care - Spring Branch

Came in for a 9:00 pm appt. (late one but couldn’t get there earlier). First time in as I don’t live here. From front to back the team was really nice and caring. The wait was not too long and at that time of the evening there was only one other patient there. Facility is clean and pristine and the team were very kind considering how late it was. Front desk gentleman was informative, the attending nurse was so sweet and supportive and the Dr was warm and helpful for sure! Had a really good experience at this facility!

The staff were very nice and sweet. Nothing bad about the staff. Only thing that really wasn’t the best was the wait time. It was super super long overall. Also, I don’t know if it was time that played a factor, but I got a 2nd opinion at another urgent care and they gave me a whole other diagnosis and treatment plan that they did. Turns out my tonsils were severely swollen they were almost blocking my airway, they immediately said it was strep and or a tonsillar abscess, which was bacterial, not viral like Texas med said. So they prescribed me antibiotics/amoxicillin, and more of the prescription they gave me at Texas med bc what they gave me wasn’t gonna be enough to heal. But they also gave me two steroid shots that helped take away the inflammation and pain drastically! Again, I loved

James Belcher was very clear and concise when talking with me. I left the clinic knowing exactly why I'm taking the medicine I will be taking and didn't have any questions. I really appreciated his explanations. The knowledge he had on all things was very impressive too. I hope if I have to visit an urgent care again, that he will be there!

The staff were all very polite and professional. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Broken foot.

Disappointed with the visit overall. My son thought he had an ear infection. The Dr checked his nose and throat and decided it was mildly inflamed. He quickly prescribed an antibiotic that he advised we might not need it but just in case. We were charged $434 for the visit, more than we had ever been charged before. They then charged our card without additional approval. Not overall super satisfied as this seemed super expensive compared to other visits. No tests were run. We waited about 2-3 hrs and the visit took 20 minutes.
