Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care

I visited urgent care due to a severe sore throat, ear pressure, and significant body aches. The staff member who administered my strep and flu tests was very kind and attentive. She carefully listened to my concerns and was compassionate throughout the process. However, my experience with the nurse practitioner was disappointing. Although my test results were negative, I felt that my symptoms were not taken seriously. Her demeanor came across as dismissive, and I did not feel heard or supported during the visit. I have been to this urgent care facility multiple times in the past and have consistently received attentive and respectful care from other providers. I came seeking medical evaluation and treatment, but unfortunately, the interaction felt uncomfortable due to the provider’s attit

As the name indicates, the whole experience from beginning to the end was a BREEZE! Making an appointment online was seamless. I didn't even have to wait a couple minutes before my name was called, the staff was very friendly. I would like to personally thank Sol Hirst and Kathy Wealers for taking good care of me, I'll be remiss not to thank the lady up front who checked me in whose name I neglected to inquire. Outstanding experience! Well done 👏

Everything ran so efficiently. I was in and out in twenty minutes on a holiday weekend! Dr Hawkins had such empathy and really spent time with me and listened to my requests about not wanting any drugs that would make me feel drowsy. Doctors tend to be very judgy when I express my fear over certain drugs, but instead she was so understanding and explained alternatives for me. I was so impressed. The nurse was also so empathetic and got a flu test running immediately so that I could be in and out quickly. Over all maybe the best urgent care experience I've ever had.

I give the Breeze Clinic on Teasley a 10 rating!!! Getting an online appointment was extremely easy. I was seen quickly and treated with courtesy. The PA listened to me, made her assessment and provided exactly the right medications. I was coughing constantly when I went to appointment. After taking the prescribed meds, my cough all but disappeared over the next few hours. I felt amazingly better.

I had heard wonderful things about Breeze Urgent Cares, and I suggested that a friend go to this location when she was having sudden onset shoulder pain. She was very upfront with the reason for her visit at the time of check-in and was charged $180 to be seen. They did NOTHING for her. She was told that they could not (or would not) write an order for a shoulder MRI. They suggested that she go to Direct Orthopedic Care instead. However, there was no refund of her payment. The front desk person should have been upfront that they do not do outside imaging referrals. Instead, they were too busy collecting her $180… Perhaps patient visits like this pay for the fancy lobby cappuccino machine?
