Texas Children's Specialty Care Kingwood Glen

We took our son to this location for an x-ray and a EKG referred by his TX Children’s Pediatrician. We called and got in right away, it was very easy and the staff was kind and there was a very short wait time. With all of that being said this facility is in a Strip Mall!! It is not a Hospital!! You CAN NOT be admitted here, but they charge “Hospital fees”. I wonder we got in so quickly, hopefully more people will write reviews once they see their bill. We will never return here as the cost does not justify the service. I will not refer anyone here. Even the nurses at our TX Children’s Pediatrician’s office and our Pediatrician told us to write this review and debate the charges. So sad that this is happening. Hopefully they will change the way they bill.

I took my child for two cardiology appointments. The bill for the first one was processed correctly and just required the copay. The follow up appointment was seriously just a review of previous test results and simply, "everything's good." No additional testing was done, and not even an exam. Yet it was billed as hospital outpatient and was therefore incorrectly much more expensive. We messaged them and called them for months and finally they said they would try to fix the error, and they instead sent us to collections. I think my family is done with Texas Children's.

We had to come to Texas Children's Specialty Care twice so far because my son broke his wrist. Both times, the staff has been extremely nice, polite, professional and efficient. The facility is clean and you don't have to sit around forever. As a matter of fact, both times they started BEFORE the actual appointment time. Excellent care.

I’m a single mom of three boys and Leslie was fantastic ! There was another nurse that also helped and forgive me for not remembering her name I was so stressed out with today but the nurses helped that ease soooo much ! I couldn’t be more appreciative of the staff here the times we have came everyone is so lovely !

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. When I was trying to ask a simple question. She was being rude telling me that we had two people in the empty waiting room and one of us had to leave and she would not answer my question. On my way out I said I was going to call the cooperate number and fill out the survey. That is when the other lady decided to talk to me. I do like TCH and we had both of our kids there. Generally they have great service, but NOT at this one.
