Texas Children's Pediatrics Post Oak

Dr Assef has been our pediatrician for 4 years and we trust & love her. She listens to my concerns and will talk through options with me rather than just “this is it for everyone”. My kids all feel comfortable with her. We have also seen other drs when we need to get in ASAP and she’s not available, we have had good experiences with all of them. I am happy with the response rate of the practice on MyChart. Dr Assef often calls me for a more in-depth response

I brought my 6 year old in for ear pain and, since Dr. Quan was unavailable, we were seen by Dr. Lange. He examined her and told us he saw no infection, attributing her symptoms to a mild case of vertigo. We left without any treatment plan. The very next day, her school nurse called to flag signs of an ear infection. I contacted the office immediately and brought her back in to see Dr. Quan, who confirmed the ear infection and prescribed antibiotics.. something that should have happened at the first visit. What made this experience even more frustrating was receiving invoices for both visits. The second visit was a direct result of the first misdiagnosis, not a new or separate concern. Dr. Phan is an outstanding pediatrician who combines exceptional professionalism with genuine compassion. From the very first visit, she demonstrates deep medical knowledge, patience, and dedication. She takes the time to carefully listen, thoroughly explain every detail, and answer all questions, which brings great peace of mind to both parents and children. Her warm, respectful, and kind approach creates a trusting and comfortable environment. Dr. Phan truly cares about her patients and their families, and her commitment to children's health is evident in everything she does. Highly recommended.

Dr. Quan and Dr. Kelly Phan are so incredibly kind and professional. Dr. Quan is our regular pediatrician but we saw Dr. Kelly Phan when she was out, and she was so incredibly warm, and compassionate. Dr. Quan is someone you feel at ease and comforted bringing your child to see. She is knowledgeable and patient (a first time mom has a lot of questions and concerns). We love working with Dr. Quan!

We have always received kind and attentive care here. The doctor and staff take the time to explain everything clearly and even give us guidance for aftercare, which has been so helpful. Our baby is now about one month old and healthy so far, but I feel very reassured knowing we can reach out anytime if something comes up. Everyone, from the doctor to the nurses and front desk staff, is incredibly friendly and caring. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful pediatric clinic.
