I have been taking my kids here for the past nine years, after my first child was born. We have been very impressed with the care that Dr. Karabinas has provided to our kids. We appreciate the evidence-based approach she takes towards her clinical decision-making. She is always willing to explain the thought process behind her decisions and she listens well to parent input and concerns. If she disagrees with you, she tells you why in a thoughtful way, not a dismissive way. She works alongside you to help you feel confident in caring for your child. I have had positive experiences with the front desk staff. There was a time when it was very difficult to schedule a sick appointment, many during 2020-2022 when they were dealing with Covid and severe staffing shortages. But, since then, I hav

We truly love Dr. Karabinas, and this review is not a reflection of the care she provides. Unfortunately, I stopped coming regularly a long time ago due to ongoing unprofessionalism at the front desk. There have been repeated mistakes, lack of proper research, and decisions made without communicating with patients. Our time has not been respected, and as working parents, that is extremely frustrating. While we have continued coming back because of the doctor, I am no longer satisfied with the overall service and will not be returning.

Ive been bringing my 2 girls for 5 years now. I received very welcoming greetings everytime. Dr. Karabinas is so good with children and my daughters are comfortable with her. My daughters first language is Spanish and she does very well in communicating with them. I definitely recommend.

While @ home I Googled pedi urgent care. It pulled up THIS location as an option. I go in and was told this was not an urgent care but there was a TCH Urgent care located on W Lake Houston. I go back to my car to Google the address and it says that location doesn't open until 4:30pm! I went in to ask the same lady WHY didn't she mention the hours B4 referring someone to that location? Evidently I MUST have a child with me who needs care @ THAT moment...NOT hours from now. Absolutely NO compassion! Why would you send a mom out the door without telling them important information (THAT YOU KNEW) that could help their child?? Are you only there for a paycheck? Seriously? Are you even in the right field?? Ugh..NOT what I expected from any TCH facility.

Love Dr.Pal. She’s very caring, takes her time listening to any and all concerns and immediately works out a plan on how to resolve the problem. So far our experiences with other staff have also been good, my daughter is very scared of needles and all the nurses have been very understanding of that. I wish I could remember her name but the woman who does bloodwork is such an angel. The only down side I have encountered at this facility is the wait time, your appointment rarely begins at the time it was scheduled for. During our last visit we were in the waiting room for over an hour, we would have done a video visit but our pediatrician wasn’t able to do the time we needed.
