I did the quality of life assessment for my boy who was having seizures and not responding to medicine. We made the hardest choice imaginable. Tender Care was very understanding and compassionate. He went peacefully. Everyone was respectful and gave us as much time together as we wanted. He was cremated and remains were returned in less than a week. Thanks to all the staff P.s. they made a clay paw print which will be cherished

Dr. Sears saved our German shepherd by diagnosing his stomach ulcer that would have killed him. She’s also seen our other dog after hours on a Friday when cut his paw open. She’s the best vet we have ever been to. Won’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Sears and her excellent team at TenderCare have been caring for our 3 dogs and 2 cats since they were all babies. That’s nearly 12 years of exceptional service. When my eldest dog began to lose his sight, Dr Sears not only made sure he got the best care and appointments with specialists, she took care of my husband and I who were terrified. She showed us examples of healthy pups who had lost sight but living large. She has guided us on healthy diets, supplements, dietary plans, toys, treats, and so many other things I can’t possibly remember them all. Recently, our youngest cat needed surgery and Dr. Sears and her team got him into a specialist hospital quickly, setting up most of the paperwork ahead of time. Traveling from northern Michigan to central Virginia for the holidays my dog developed a bad ear infection, tender care was able to get us in the same day and give her ears the medication she needed. Ruby is a big German Shepherd and can be a pain in the butt about her ears. The staff is very nice Dr. Sears was wonderful I never felt rushed and they treated Ruby so good!! they are a wonderful veterinary group and I would highly recommend them. I absolutely love and adore Dr. Sears and there is truly not enough words to express, how much we as a family love her and the staff at TenderCare. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond - not to mention loving, sincere, and just great people all around. I can guarantee you that between Dr. Sears, Staff, and the facility and equipment, your are getting the best and latest technology and procedures - that Dr. Sears has researched and vetted herself. I’m sure (and have no doubt there are a couple more good vets around) but Dr. Sears has my business forever and my fur babies adore her (she’s the reason they have been so healthy for so long)!!
