Tenafly Pediatrics

My daughter has been going for all her wellness check ups and sick visits to Tenafly Pediatrics since her birth in 2019. They have been an amazing facility to us, specially during the covid days. Having multiple locations within Bergen country makes it so easy to get appointments within a short notice. All TP facilities work from a single system, so calling any one office, they can book appointment in any of the available office. The Closter location is relatively newer and one of best ones among TP offices. The waiting area and patient rooms are clean, vibrant and friendly for kids. Staff are also nice and professional. Dr. Kancherla who attends Closter and Tenafly locations, has been my daughter’s primary since Day 1. She is a kind, thoughtful and observing Pediatrician. Over the years

Came highly recommended and was great several years ago, but got too popular and the level of care dropped significantly. Very long wait times , difficulty in scheduling, and extreme lack of proactive checkups. Confusion about what was due at visits, verifying same details over and over as if they didn't keep proper records, wait times of 10-20 minutes in the lobby +30-45 minutes more in the room, requests for prescriptions that had to be made several times before filled... Had to walk out of a 1 year old checkup after waiting so long, and nobody ever called to ask, follow up, reschedule... Feels more like a clinic nowadays.

Our kids' medical needs are well taken care of. Staff there is wonderful. Jennifer always does a great job with our kids.

We loved Dr. Martakis! The Closter office staff are exceptional.

We love Dr. Schewitz! She is amazing, kind, intelligent! All of the nurses are amazing! They are patient and caring with the children! The front deck staff are great and very efficient! Thanks for a smooth in and out every time!
