Temple Pediatrics

If you’re a new parent looking for a pediatrician, learn from my mistake and avoid Temple Pediatrics. I called to schedule a first-time newborn appointment for my son when he was only a day or two old. During the call, they confirmed the appointment date, told me they would text the confirmation with the date and time, and then… nothing. No text. No confirmation. No follow-through. Because newborn visits are time-sensitive and I still hadn’t received anything in writing, I called on the day of the appointment to confirm. That’s when I found out Temple Pediatrics had canceled my appointment without telling me. No call. No voicemail. No text. No email. Just silently canceled and left us to figure it out ourselves. The reason they gave was ridiculous and borderline incorrect: they claimed

The experience was a something I wouldn’t wish on anyone in the grand scheme of things! I was able to be seen and had a tooth extracted via referral from the temple ER. But the after care was the part that made it a nightmare. NO ANTIBIOTICS WERE PRESCRIBED! I walked around in pain for an entire week! And no one answered the phone from the number listed on the post extraction paper! I couldn’t eat, i couldn’t sleep due to the pain. The lack of empathy, the lack of compassion, the lack of attention to detail!

I forget the name of the Muslimah med student with a black stethoscope and silver at the bottom. A very thorough assessment, very attentive while listening to my concerns about my little one. Once everything was said and done my daughter ran towards her and hugged her. and the Doctor. Representation is a beautiful thing.

Ever since COVID they’ve gotten messy, rude and inconsiderate. It’s a pain to get an appointment or they will cancel appointments for any given reason. They will not take accountability for their mistakes. my daughter had an appointment schedule for her 2 months shots, witch btw took a while to even get because her original doctor was leaving and apparently no body knew, finally they figured it out so they schedule with a different doctor but the day of her appointment it was canceled due to them “not having her medical insurance on file” but fail to acknowledge that no body asked for this information when the appointment was made. after providing the insurance information they couldn’t give me the appointment back because they already had giving it away to somebody else in a matter of h

Completely unprofessional, a day before my appointment I was called by the pediatric center to give them my insurance numbers, the woman on the phone told me I was all set never mentioned I had to call the insurance company to give more information I come for my appointment today and the woman at the desk is completely rude from the start and told me I was told on the phone yesterday I had to call in to give more information, if that was the case I would have taken care of everything yesterday to be prepared for today. I eventually get it situation was 5 minutes over my appointment time mind you I was ontime for my appointment . I will call the office manager and make a complaint this is ridiculous and completely unfair to my new born.
