Taylor WIC Office

For a place that is supposed to help people, they really make you feel like they don’t want to help you. The heavier lady that works there in the front is very very rude. I’ve always tried to avoid her. Idk how many times I’ve walked in and left crying. The way they make you feel is just unbelievable. It’s always something with that lady. Today I was 3 min late and she was a bit dramatic, mean and rescheduled me. According to her it was over 5 min late. But I look at the time. I wish I never had to come to this office ever again but unfortunately I need the help. So if you have to visit the Taylor WIC office be ready, you just might get bullied and be talked to like your less than.

Haven’t had an issue before today but I don’t really come in to the clinic as I try to avoid it unless I have to. Had an appointment at 10:45am arrived early, and am still waiting to be seen. I did notice there are workers and not sure what else they could be doing if not seeing clients so disappointed.

I've been to this WIC location numerous times over the last 10 years. I have to say the staff and process now is sooo much better. 10/10 stars!!!! They are quick, efficient and knowledgeable but the best part is how polite and sweet they were ❤️. Here's something I wish I had known... 1. Schedule a doctor's appointment 30 ish days before your WIC appointment and bring a print out of your child's height / weight / lead / iron levels. They will use this and skip over that part!! 2. Put your appointment dates in your phone calendar. They book way far in advance..don't miss your appointment or you will be waiting. 3. Find the office # and call them directly instead of the call center. Leave a message and they will get back to you

I felt like the young Caucasian girl with long black hair was coming off as very rude to me. Asking me why did I have a mask on and am I sick because that's my personal choice to wear one. This is not a place where they are taking safety precautions and asking at front door to wear a mask or taking temperature. So I was very confused on why she singled me out to ask such a personal question. Also there was not a single customer in the office at the time I was there. I will never go back to this location again.

There was little staff and I was told to be there 20 mins before my appointment. The office was not even opened when I arrived and I had to sit in the dark and wait up to 30 minutes. Besides that when they finally opened they got me in and the ladies were extremely nice to me. The experience was quick and painless. I got everything I needed and more. It's not as bad as the reviews make it seem. A lot of people are just those who have been denied and are salty. Wanting something to complain about. As long as you have everything they asked you for the process is quick and simple.
