Taylor H. Hoover Family Dentistry

I've never had a problem with the office staff and I went there for years. My only complaint is from a few year ago when I had to cancel my appointment the day of due to a covid symptoms, which I ended up being positive for and could never get ahold of anyone to schedule another appointment. But that's on me. The dentist is very straight forward and doesn't sugar coat anything. He tells you what's going on, whether it's what you want to hear or not. But his work is amazing! I've never had any pain during my visits. I had one issue accur after a dental procedure years ago and he got me in immediately. I've never had any trouble with my fillings that he has done.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hoover and his team. I first called the office last week with some dental pain, and they were able to get me in right away. Dr. Hoover was kind, professional, and efficient—he did some fillings on the spot and also submitted a preauthorization for a wisdom tooth extraction, but told me that if the pain worsened beforehand, I could call back and he would take care of it. Sure enough, I was up all night with pain from the decayed wisdom tooth, and when I called the next day—just 30 minutes before the office was closing—Dr. Hoover still told me to come in. He numbed the area, and removed the tooth quickly and completely pain-free. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I was amazed not only at how skilled he was, but also how confident and caring h

I have a fear of dentist so I had been holding off on booking my routine cleaning for a long time. I had my first appointment with Dr. Hoover today, everyone there is great and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. 10/10 would recommend!

Update: My response to the lovely response to Dr. Hoover was too long to add to my review. I have attached and image of the email sent directly to him. LONG REVIEW AHEAD: *Photo of the toothbrush I received to prove I was an actual patient.* I was hoping that I had finally found a good dentist in the Frankfort KY area. Unfortunately, my search continues. I made my appointment about a month ago. Confirmed my appointment via text days before my appointment and also completed the early check-in on the day of my appointment. I received a phone call 5 minutes before my appointment(I was literally parking on Main Street when I received the call.) stating that I was late. Dr. Hoover has taken my fear out of dentistry. He and his staff are very personable. Only dentist I will go to and definitely will refer people to him.
