Target

I haven’t visited this Target location for quite a while. Opted to get an online order pick up. Looked around the store afterwards and the women's clothing and shoe departments were a disaster. Clothing and shoes piled on shelves and all over the floors throughout the entire department. I’ve always considered Target to be higher end than Walmart. Not sure at this point. Mens bathroom was out of soap in both dispensers and the check off list hadn’t been done all day. I wasn’t impressed.

Needed to return some jeans that I purchased with my target circle rewards and the gal at the service desk said my circle rewards are non refundable.. I talked with the online customer service and they said I will get my rewards back after it’s refunded.. the gal wouldn’t return my jeans. I went to another target and they returned it no questions asked and I got my rewards back already. The front end manager needs to talk to their employees about what is correct and what isn’t. I was very annoyed.

Oh my goodness. This target has gone WAY downhill recently. It is a dump. Conversely, the Walmart in Clinton has become a wonderful place to shop. It seems like these two retailers have decided to swap positions in the marketplace. My son and I went Christmas shopping for my wife here and simply could not believe our eyes. Truly disappointing.

Hey Target, just wanted to let you know about a pretty disappointing experience at your Riverdale store. After a rough week, we came in to buy a game and had a bit of a learning curve using a gift card. We appreciated the employee help at the time, but it was really disheartening to overhear that same employee later on talking absolute trash about us to other staff while we were still in the store. We expect better than that from your team and hope you’ll address it. Genuinely cried in the car on the way home.

Covid has pretty much destroyed Target. It's pretty clear they have a staffing issue. Unfortunately we can't allow that to be an excuse. I can confidently say that they no longer focus on the "guest", if an employee actually says anything to you while you're shopping it's a total surprise these days. I try really hard to shop at Target but I'm forced to go to Walmart for most items and I also find that Walmart stores are now looking better and better. If Walmart is able to do this then Target should be as well. If they aren't able to figure this out... January 2024 update: I waited in line at the self-checkout behind about 10 other people. After about 5 minutes I decided this was going to be too long and had to abandon my purchase. When I walked out a few others walked out with me. U
