Swift Creek Pediatrics

My 4 boys saw Dr. Wilms for 12 years and after my oldest reached a certain age he requested to see a male Dr. so we decided to switch to RVApediatrics since Swiftcreek does not have any male physicians- we decided to switch everyone and make life easier. At the time my youngest was 3 weeks old and was scheduled for a check up with Wilms- I had called the front desk and double checked that she could still see him post transfer because RVApediatrics couldnt see him in time for his 2 week check up. On the day of the appointment, I called to check the time and was told the appointment was cancelled and I tried to explain to them that he needed to be seen and that I had already spoken to someone who said it was fine for him to come but Dr. Cantor got on the phone and was unbelievably rude and b

Dr. Cantor is one of the rudest people I’ve met. After calling in to check the time of my 3 week old sons appointment, she got angry and she cancelled our appointment 4 hours before we were supposed to be there, wouldn’t schedule a new one, and hung up on us.

We love Dr. Bantle, her partners and office staff. They are friendly, efficient and their call service after hours is so helpful. Dr. Bantle never makes us feel rushed and happily answers any questions we have!

We have a unique situation with our baby and everyone there made us feel welcomed. Dr. Wilms was absolutely amazing. She made us feel heard and answered all of our questions without judgment. Her nurse I wish I remembered her name was fantastic as well. Very professional but personal at the same time. Megan I believe who gave our sweet baby shots was great. Very calming presence when giving the shots. We highly recommend take your kids there!

It is no surprise that this horrible place is primarily 1 star, and honestly, I would prefer to give it zero. Everyone at the front desk is extremely nasty, and the owner, Dr. Cantor, just always seems like she’s in her own world, not to mention she misdiagnosed my child’s allergy. They cancelled my son’s appointment that had been in place for a year and stated that they had tried to call to confirm. There were absolutely no missed calls or voicemails from them. When I asked to speak to the manager, the manager was “unavailable”, and so they put me through to Dr. Cantor and she said she doesn’t “engage because she doesn’t know what may have happened between me and her business office or front desk”. It’s a mess there. They leave the kids waiting for literally 30 to 45 minutes for a doctor
