Swedish Urgent Care - Factoria

Came in with no appt. Quickly accepted had a 25? Minute wait. Great nurses, assistants and doctor. Diagnosed with walking pneumonia which I already suspected. Fast efficient friendly professional treatment throughout. Got prescription prescribed with a thorough write up of instructions and results of my exam and chest XRay. I was totally impressed with all services. A Wow(!) Event. Thanks to all.

Urgent care at Swedish Factoria was excellent. EXCELLENT. If I could give the people and care offered 100 stars I would. I sustained a laceration due to a fall and headed to Swedish Urgent Care for I knew something the deep needed a professional. And I’m someone who does not catastrophize nor usually need alot of medical intervention. This injury required I get seen! I knew thus was imperative. The welcome and first engagement with nurse Valerie K was highest standard of care. She communicated every thing she did to carefully clean the wound and also made sure I was tolerating the treatment. Her demeanor, expertise and sensitivity all superb. I have brought my wife in twice, and we have been very satisfied with the service we received each time. My wife has been a Swedish patient for 30+ years, and this is an easy clinic to come to when her office is closed or booked and we don't need the ER. It's also nice she has all her Swedish records available for the Urgent Care staff. I know Urgent Care centers aren't perfect, but we have received excellent care here.

Today I visited Swedish Urgent Care. There was no waiting! Lucky me! My examination room was open quickly, after meeting the medical assistants I saw Julia Preuss, PA-C. She explained what she was going to do. She did it gentle with care. She listened well, she was really nice. Thank you, Julia! I had a very good experience at this Urgent Care. I highly recommend it!

Did an online reservation. Waited an hour, was told it would be another hour, still not seen. Overheard another person was also in the same boat. Additional context: lady told me it would be another 2 hours after I had already waited 2 hours. She also had told me there was only 1 more person but then it changed to 2. I understand they are short staffed across the country. I understand that patience is required. But not being able to simply say “hey realistically we don’t think we’re going to be able to see you in 4 hours” would have resolved all of this and I would have just left. This is absolutely unacceptable. And not only do we have to wait in the waiting room, we also have to wait another hour in the patient room. Absolutely ridiculous.
