Swallowing Specialists of Central GA,LLC

My husband had a major stroke in 2003 that left him weak on his right side. Though he regained a moderate amount of use of his right side, he was left with swallowing and aspiration difficulties. He even had to have a feeding tube inserted, using that for several years because of lung damage caused by his continuous aspirating. Finally, several years ago, he decided to just go back to eating since he was coughing so much just from his aspiration of his own saliva. Now, over 22 years after his stroke, we were referred to Tamatha by his pulmonologist. Tamatha is one of the most caring, knowledgeable and absolutely amazing therapists I have ever had the chance to work with. She has a passion for helping others continue to enjoy life to the fullest and will do everything she can to explain and ease the trials that each of her patients may encounter. Tamatha and her team are truly one of the best speech and swallowing therapists.
